With the contact form, you can ask us questions or make requests. For this we use your company name, contact person’s name, email address, and telephone number. We need this information in order to contact you. We retain this information as long as necessary, depending on the nature of the form or the content of your email, for the complete handling and response.

Your rights

Under Dutch and European law, you as a data subject have certain rights regarding the personal data processed by or on behalf of us. Below we explain what these rights are and how you can exercise them. As a rule, to prevent abuse, we only send copies and transcripts of your data to the email address already known to us. If you would like to receive the data at another email address or, for example, by post, we will ask you to identify yourself. We keep a record of processed requests; in the case of a forget request, we keep anonymized data. All copies and transcripts of data will be provided in the machine-readable data format that we use within our systems. You always have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority if you suspect that we are using your personal data incorrectly.

You always have the right to view the data that we (or third parties on our behalf) process and that relate to your person or can be traced back to you. You can submit a request to that effect to our privacy contact. You will receive a response to your request within 30 days. If your request is granted, we will send you a copy of all the data at the email address known to us, along with an overview of the processors that hold this data, indicating the category under which we have stored this data. 

Right to rectification

You always have the right to have the data we process that relate to you amended. You can submit a request to that effect to our privacy contact. You will receive a response within 30 days. If your request is granted, we will send you a confirmation that the data has been adjusted. 

Right to restriction of processing

You always have the right to restrict the data we (or third parties on our behalf) process that relate to you. You can submit a request to that effect to our privacy contact. You will receive a response within 30 days. If your request is granted, we will send you a confirmation that the data will no longer be processed until you lift the restriction. 

Right to data portability

You always have the right to have the data we (or third parties on our behalf) process that relate to you carried out by another party. You can submit a request to that effect to our privacy contact. You will receive a response within 30 days. If your request is granted, we will send you copies of all the data we have processed about you or that has been processed on our behalf by other processors or third parties. In such a case, it is likely we will no longer be able to continue providing services, as the secure linking of data files can no longer be guaranteed. 

Right to object and other rights

You have the right, in certain circumstances, to object to the processing of your personal data by or on behalf of Acomo Akoestiek. If you object, we will immediately stop processing the data pending the outcome of your objection. If your objection is justified, we will provide you with copies and/or transcripts of the data we process, and then permanently cease processing. You also have the right not to be subjected to automated individual decision-making or profiling. We do not process your data in such a way that this right applies. If you believe otherwise, please contact our privacy contact. 

How is your data secured?

The security of personal data is of great importance to us. To protect your privacy, we take the following measures:
  • Access to personal data is protected with a username and password
  • We use secure connections (Secure Sockets Layer or SSL) that shield all information between you and our website when you enter personal data
  • Access to personal data is protected with a username and a login token

Changes to this privacy statement

If our service or business operations change, we must of course also update the privacy statement. Always pay attention to the date above and check regularly for new versions. We will do our best to announce changes separately as well. 

Lodging a complaint

If you feel that we are not helping you in the right way, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority, the Dutch Data Protection Authority. 

Analysis and statistics

We keep statistics about the use of our service, which may include viewing individual data. With these statistics, we improve our service to show only relevant information, for example. We may combine your personal data to learn more about you. We will always respect your privacy. If you do not wish this, you can always notify us.You give consent for this via the cookie notice. We store this information for one year. 

Location data

Sometimes it is necessary for our service to determine your location. We will ask separately if we may know this, and only if you give permission will we receive this information. For this service, we use the navigation and location software on your phone, tablet, or computer. We have no control over what the creators of this software (such as Google Maps) do with it. Always read their privacy statements as well. 

Third parties processing your data

For the performance of our services, we sometimes engage third parties. We only pass on your data to other parties if it is really necessary for our services or if required by law. Examples include: our IT service providers who support us with technical issues, marketing parties who help us with marketing, delivery partners who deliver your goods, or cases where we may report suspected fraud to the police. Supporting parties only gain access to your personal data when providing services on our behalf. We use various programs for analytical and marketing purposes. Our website includes social media buttons and links. With these, the administrators of these services (such as YouTube, LinkedIn, Pure Chat, Facebook, Hotjar, Google Maps, Google Ads, and Bing Ads) may collect your personal data after your approval. They ensure that advertisements contain as many interesting or relevant offers as possible. They may then contact you directly to sell you products. This can only happen after you have given your consent through our cookie notice. You can withdraw this consent at any time. You can read more about this in our cookie statement and the privacy policies of these parties. We never sell your data to third parties. Some partners are located outside the European Union (such as Google Analytics and YouTube). We have strict agreements with them, and they must comply with European privacy laws. We always ask for your consent before they receive your data. 

Leadinfo

We use the lead generation service of Leadinfo B.V., Rotterdam, the Netherlands. The tool recognizes business visits to our website based on IP addresses and shows us publicly available information, such as company names or addresses. Leadinfo also places two first-party cookies to evaluate user behavior on our website and processes domains from form inputs (e.g., “Leadinfo.com”) to correlate IP addresses with companies and improve services.
